2009 Christmas Show - VENDORS WANTED!!




2009 Christmas Show - VENDORS WANTED!!

Dec 12, 2009 2-8pm at the Milton Sports Center
The cost of a table is $175. It includes the advertising, insurance, gift bag inclusion and contacts list.
There
will be extensive advertising on mommy discussion forum websites, a
large billboard, and numerous flyers and posters around town
There
will be a fund raising feature to the show and there will be some
contests taking place to help bring out the crowds. Charity to be
determined.
There will also be a gift bag for the first 100 people.
I'm asking each vendor to contribute something from the products they
sell for the gift bag.

How big is the table?
Are we allowed to share with another vendor to help with the cost?
Is this the first year or is this an ongoing event?

It does sound very interesting, but I can't really afford the cost to rent the table. I don't know if I would sell enough to break even.
I can't get my sister off her bottom to get crafting and do a show with me.

Thank you for your interest in this event ladies.......
Below is some additional information about the event.
The tables are 8' in length, unfortunately I'm not having shared tables at this event.
This is the first year I've done this event.
The event will be taking place at the Milton Sports Center in the banquet room
The
event is for the general public interested in Christmas items, like
gifts, gift wrap, candles, chocolates, wreaths, etc. There will be a
kids craft area and a gingerbread house contest that the public will
judge.
There will be gift bags for the first 100 people and the gift bags will
include products/literature from the vendors advertising their product.

The shows are mainly for networking, selling and advertising for small business in the halton region.
There are no other similar events taking place, so I think people will be very interested to come out.
All
of the shows that I organize have a fundraising element to them as
well. I haven't chosen the charity that we will be raising funds for
yet.

I
don't have an estimate of guest attendance as this is the second show
like this that I'm organizing. However the event is in a high traffic
area and will be heavily advertised, including in the Milton Champion,
numerous discussion forum websites, kijiji, craigslist, facebook, the
large lighted billboard sign outside the sports center and on numerous
signs and flyers around town. As well with the kids craft area, the
charity and the contest, I think we can expect a great turnout!!
